I wish I had photos of this amazing gourmet pizza, but sadly, I don’t. This pizza is yet another great candidate for getting cut into bite-sized hors d’oeuvre portions. Best of all, it uses up some leftovers in my fridge!

Smoked Salmon Pizza
This. is. the. best. pizza. ever.
It’s also the best appetizer I’ve ever found. This will definitely find its way to the hors d’oevre table on New Years Eve. It’s also just about the easiest pizza I’ve ever made!

Crab Asiago Pizza
This pizza is my new favorite. It started out as a pizza that was using up leftovers in my fridge and has evolved into something spectacular and gourmet. The strong, unique flavors also make it a perfect pizza for micro-pieces on the appetizer table.

Apricot Brandy Pound Cake
My grad-school friend Tamara recently wrote on her Facebook wall that she was going to make Apricot Brandy Pound Cake. Being no fool, I quickly sent her a message demanding…er….begging for her recipe. Tamara has agreed to share the recipe, which looks and sounds completely decadent and wonderful. Here it is, in her own words:

Totally off-topic: Year End Giving
I realize that this is totally off-topic, but it’s pressing on MY mind and I thought it might be a pressing issue for others.

I know, you’ve barely recovered from the Christmas dinner table, and are not really ready to be thinking about food again, but here’s a simple recipe for Swedish pancakes that you could serve for breakfast tomorrow morning. (Surely the day after Christmas rates a special breakfast too? And after all, there’s all those guests and [...]

Merry Christmas from My Sister’s Kitchen
We hope that your homes are overflowing today with plenty of good food, good conversation, laughter, music, and love. We are so grateful for the grace of God that pours out good things on us, especially the love that He demonstrated by sending His Son Jesus as a baby. That baby did not stay a [...]
